Senator Taylor, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Judiciary Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 3789. Senator Duncan objected. The question being: Shall the Judiciary Senate Committee Substitute be adopted? Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Senator Mackie objected. The question being: Shall the resolution be advanced to third reading? Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that he be allowed to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. Objections were heard and Senator Taylor was required to vote.
